The wine list - extensive and impressive - is selected by Hamish Martin of well-rated Inverarity Vaults and Malcolm Ogilvy of Forth Wines. Particularly impressive are the explanatory notes which are conversational in tone. In a world of wine snobs it's refreshing to find an enthusiastic list that is informative without being patronising

Our restaurant and lounges are all served with this extensive cellar of interesting fine wines from around the world, and half a dozen lovely house wines are always available by the glass
Malt whiskies here come virtually ‘as standard’ as you would expect - and a ‘more than a dash’ good collection there

During the summer months you can wine dine al fresco in the beautiful gardens which are accessed from the bar area – where you can enjoy the afternoon sun with Pimms or a tipple of your choice
