Operations Manager

Reference: HTH/OPS

Skills: 
Previous experience within a medium hotel establishment as Operations Manager/senior F&B management level equivalent
Thorough understanding and experience of hotel operations, in particular F&B, including Conference & Events and Front Office, Housekeeping and Kitchen
Ability to establish and deliver high standards of performance within the operational team
Ability to coach and manage direct reports to meet departmental targets
Confident and approachable management style
Excellent organisation skills
Experience of HR administration/processes/employee relations
Knowledge regarding Health & Safety administration requirements
Personal Licence Holder certificate
Eligibility to work in the UK

<br>Previous experience at supervisory level in a hotel/similar environment
<br>Previous experience of bar & food service
<br>Experience of Conference & Events operations is advantageous
<br>Previous experience of duty management is advantageous, although training will be provided
<br>Excellent communication skills both oral and written
<br>High standard of personal presentation
<br>High standard of customer care 
<br>Ability to deliver training to improve procedures and enhance customer service standards
<br>Ability to resolve issues and ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner
<br>Experience of Micros point of sale and system administration is advantageous
<br>Experience of health & safety, risk assessments, COSHH and PPE training is advantageous
<br>Personal liquor license holder and food hygiene certificate holder 
<br>Eligible to work in the UK with the ability to work 5 out of 7 shifts on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings and weekends 
<br>Flexibility is required to meet business needs and hours of work will also be dependant on this
<br>

Hours: 40 hours per week - 5 out of 7 days, includes evening and weekend work

Salary/Hourly rate: Up to £22,000 per annum - depending on skills/experience
