Reception Supervisor

Reference: RS/HTH

Skills: 
Previous Reception experience is essential as is supervisory experience
Experience as a Shift leader
Previous people management experience
Previous experience of Opera 4/5 or computerised front office system is advantageous
High standard of personal presentation
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Customer service experience is essential and an understanding of hotel operations is advantageous
Attention to detail is essential
Due to the nature of this role the ability to deal with a variety of tasks at the one time will be required, ensuring that all tasks are completed on a timely basis prior to hand-over to the next shift

<br>Previous experience at supervisory level in a hotel/similar environment
<br>Previous experience of bar & food service
<br>Experience of Conference & Events operations is advantageous
<br>Previous experience of duty management is advantageous, although training will be provided
<br>Excellent communication skills both oral and written
<br>High standard of personal presentation
<br>High standard of customer care 
<br>Ability to deliver training to improve procedures and enhance customer service standards
<br>Ability to resolve issues and ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner
<br>Experience of Micros point of sale and system administration is advantageous
<br>Experience of health & safety, risk assessments, COSHH and PPE training is advantageous
<br>Personal liquor license holder and food hygiene certificate holder 
<br>Eligible to work in the UK with the ability to work 5 out of 7 shifts on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings and weekends 
<br>Flexibility is required to meet business needs and hours of work will also be dependant on this
<br>

Hours: Various hours per week - Hours of work will be based on business needs. Shifts will be 5 days out of 7, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, including preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts

Hours: 40 hours per week - 5 out of 7 days including evening and weekend work 

Salary/Hourly rate: £7.50 per hour
